I traveled there by bike and stayed for one night. Since I arrived quite late at dusk and left early at dawn, I unfortunately can’t say much about the campsite itself. The host was super friendly and showed me around right away. The restroom and washhouse were very clean, and the shower was spacious. Electricity and water were available right at the site. For me, everything I needed was there, and communication was absolutely hassle-free. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Due to family circumstances, we were unfortunately unable to honor the reservation. Therefore, we are unable to provide a review.

We think it’s a real shame that you gave us a 3-star rating even though you weren’t able to visit us at all and therefore can’t know what it’s like here. On the evening of our arrival, a heavy rainstorm with strong winds swept over us. Our hosts kindly checked to see if we were okay or if we needed any help. The restroom, housed in a container, is spacious, has brand-new fixtures, and is very clean. We felt very comfortable there.

The Köhler family gave us a very warm welcome; communication was great, the campsites were spacious and level, and the restrooms and showers were spotless. There was even a bonfire on Saturday evening. We really enjoyed our stay. We’ll be back. Andy & Bine
A warm welcome, very clean restroom and shower, and a very pleasant stay. A quiet location with everything you need right on site. I would book here again in a heartbeat 🙂

Great place, great hosts, enchanting This place is just great for relaxing and unwinding. Wonderfully warm welcome. There is everything a camper needs for a great camping experience. There is seating, electricity and water. Spotlessly clean sanitary facilities and always friendly site managers who even delivered bread rolls to us. On the day of arrival we were able to sit by the fire in the evening. Unfortunately, the second day was very rainy but it was easy to bear in the cozy tent of the hosts which we could also use. We set off on a hike with our family dog into the beautiful countryside. Due to the location of the campsite below the huge Salzberg, you can see towards the Inselberg in Thuringia and the Hessian Kegelspiel. We will be back!
