Our idyllic working farm is nestled among meadows, forests, and fields, yet centrally located between the Ruhr region and the Sauerland. Here, you can lie in the grass, listen to the birds singing, and enjoy the peace and quiet, or go hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, and much more.
At the gateway to the Sauerland, every nature lover will find something to enjoy. You’ll find countless cultural attractions in the easily accessible Ruhr region.
Altena Castle or the nearby Dechen Cave are always worth a visit.

Everything was great. We felt very comfortable there. We were only there for a short time, but Marion was so sweet, and we slept well and were able to take a hot shower 🥰
We had three wonderful days thanks to Marion and her husband’s great tips; we visited Altena Castle and were very impressed by the warm welcome and the campsite. We’d love to come back.
We were given a very warm welcome, and Reinhard showed us around and explained everything. We were lucky to have a direct view of the organic farmer’s chickens. During the day, you can hear cars on the street, but that doesn’t happen often, and at night it’s very quiet. We’d love to come back :-)
Great location, everything was so easy and pleasant—and it’s always worth asking if there’s another spot available, even if they’re fully booked. We’d love to come back!
