To the right and left of us are thatched roof houses. In this respect can be grilled with gas grill or similar. Open fire/spark flying is not allowed out of consideration for our neighbors.

A beautiful, quiet campsite right on the Elbe. Everything was very well-maintained and tidy. The owners were very nice; even though we unfortunately had to call them once in the middle of the night because of a storm surge warning—complete with a siren—they really put our minds at ease, so the kids were able to go right back to sleep. We were staying there mainly to visit Hamburg.

Small but nice just outside Hamburg! This place has everything you need—perfect for travel trailers and RVs, with clean restroom facilities (modern design) and a great spot on a green meadow right behind the dike. If you’re traveling with a dog, there’s a small beach on the Elbe just a few minutes away. The surrounding area is also very inviting. Wi-Fi and electricity are included. The booking process is completely digital… Sandra responded immediately to every request or question! ☺️ It’s about a 17-minute drive from the Harburg train station, and from there it’s about a 25-minute train ride to Hamburg Central Station. A bakery is about a 5- to 8-minute bike ride away. We’d love to come back!
A nice, quiet spot, not far from Hamburg. Electricity, internet, and the restroom—everything was great!
Great location with a view of the garden. I was also very grateful for the light sensor—it made it easy to find my way to the bathroom even in the evening. A big thank you for the wonderful bathroom, complete with eco-friendly toilet paper and organic soap. And the terrace is fantastic, too. I felt very welcome. The Elbe dike is right across the street, and you can walk the dog there for hours. For that reason alone, I’d love to come back—unfortunately, I didn’t have time that day... Thank you so much for the lovely stay. :-)
